Death Beam

A deadly technique used by Freeza, he extends his right arm and fires a small, very fast bullet-like beam of ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through an opponent. Able to be fired exceedingly quickly while maintaining precise aim. Freeza murders both Dende and Vegeta in this fashion, also heavily wounding Piccolo.

As a special ability gained from Freeza, Cell uses the same skill against Gohan when the young saiyan first confronts him, and later to end the life of Future Trunks after a surprise return from self-destruction.

Although this technique was unamed in the manga and anime, it is referred to as the "Death Beam" in the American releases of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi videogame series.
