Kaio￣-Ken

This technique is used by Son Goku to multiply his speed and power, often letting him work on an equal level against an initially more powerful foe. It can be doubled, tripled, and eventually reaches the 20 fold level. The kaio￣-ken is, however, dangerous and can do damage (potentially fatal) to the user's body if the user can't control their ki properly. Goku￣ stops using this technique once he is able to access the more potent Super Saiyan state but he once uses it against Pikkon.

Non-manga usage
In the anime only, Goku uses the kaio￣-ken as a Super Saiyan during the Anoyo-ichi Budo￣kai, thus creating the "Super kaio￣-ken", which increases his power incredibly.

In the game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (and its sequel, Budokai 2), the move was translated as "King Kai Fist." This error is corrected in the rest of the series.
